Promotion to Lead Consultant
Alex has a range of operational and change management experience in the delivery of technology services. He has developed and deployed change framework management products in risk, assumptions, issues and decisions across a £550m transformation portfolio in the financial services sector. He has also overseen business case production across a large and diverse IT estate ensuring scaled process and governance adhered to regulatory requirements. Alex is a qualified PRINCE2 practitioner.
Alex has particular interest in Risk Management in an Agile Environment, Learning from Experience lessons, Root Cause Analysis, New Ways of Working, and Commercial Management.
Promotion to Senior Consultant
Jaspal has gained a variety of experience across the private and public sectors. In the private sector Jas has undertaken a range of operationally focussed roles, including coaching and training large teams of employees. More recently, Jas has specialised in building capability in project, programme and portfolio risk management.
Beyond this, Jas is a keen scuba diver and has attained the BSAC Diving Instructor qualification. He also serves as the Chairman of his local BSAC diving club
Promotion to Junior Consultant
Andrew was our first employee to complete our graduate scheme. Coming to us with an MSc in Corporate Finance from Loughborough University. Before that he obtained a BA (hons) from the University of Stirling in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Andrew has also gained some experience abroad interning at a small Japanese Investment Bank, Aristagora Advisors. He was primarily focused on research for early round investment opportunities within Israeli technology start-ups, but also helped on various IPO’s.
Andrew plans to bring his experience in Finance and apply this to Hand & Millar, looking to develop and maintain a sustainable financial model. He’s also excited to understand and develop skills related to Programme and Project Management, working towards qualifications that will benefit himself and the clients he works with.
In his spare time, Andrew has taken a keen interest in playing Hockey, particularly at the University of Stirling. He is also a level 1 qualified hockey umpire, occasionally helping out umpiring a variety of league matches for his club and others too.
